Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the essence of the deposit system in Poland in the context of the European Waste Directive 2018/852, and the results of own research on the attitude of Poles towards the idea of using ecological packaging during purchases. The study examined:
- respondents' purchasing decisions in the context of packaging selection (both product and transport),
- attitudes towards glass packaging returns (including the availability of empty bottles for return).
The study was conducted using the CAWI method on a group of 1213 respondents. The study was anonymous, and the selection of the sample for the study was non-random (the snowball method was used). The study was not representative.
