Role of the Programme Council
The Programme Board serves an advisory and supervisory role with respect to the journal’s scholarly direction and adherence to accepted ethical and scientific standards. It does not participate in day-to-day editorial decision-making, including the evaluation and selection of manuscripts for publication, which remains the sole responsibility of the editorial team. This separation of responsibilities ensures transparency and safeguards the journal from actual or perceived conflicts of interest between the Publisher and the Programme Board of the journal.
